Early Spring Outing

On a recent trip out to a local creek, I noticed spring had sprung up everywhere. I found my self looking past the banks of the stream in to the woods and fields around me. While I was on the creek I tried a new stone fly nymph variation I tied with Red Tail Hawk "road kill",Peacock, and Turkey feathers with a tungsten head. The fly was a hit on the small stream. Overall, it was an excellent day of fishing and catching.
